A Big Catch Slots
Are you all set to try and get A Big Catch? This game was developed by Betsoft, and they’ve added the Hold & Win element to it as well, confirmed by the subtitle for the game. A fisherman is after some fish, clearly, so let’s see whether he manages to get some.
Reels and paylines landing in A Big Catch
The game has five reels available, but rather than having any paylines to offer, they’ve gone for all 243 ways you could collect prizes.
Play one bet on each spin
The smallest of these is worth 25 cents. You can choose something bigger if you wish, with $10 per spin the biggest of the lot.
Can you find any lures?
They’re essential for successful fishing, and they are used as wild symbols here, too. They land on the middle three reels, substituting for everything else with two exceptions. The first is the pile of fish acting as a (smelly, we guess) scatter symbol. The second is a shark in gold, which is a reset symbol.
Reeling in the bonuses in A Big Catch
The Hold & Win feature unlocks when you get six bonus icons in one game. You will see a cash sum on each bonus symbol, or alternatively the name of one of three jackpots. Three respins begin with the remaining positions. Get another bonus symbol and the respins start again.
Getting a reset shark anywhere will eat the cash values and jackpots shown, resetting the reels to give you another three respins. This also increases the multiplier by 1x, with 5x the highest it can go. You can carry on playing until you get no more respins. Alternatively, you might manage to get prizes in all the spots.
A Big Catch is a fine title to explore
We enjoyed this a lot, and even though it does run along similar lines to the famous Big Bass Bonanza series, there are a few tweaks that give this game its own look and feel. See what you think by launching the demo to start with, as that is the best way to get a sense of it before playing for real.
